Since its establishment on March 1, 1986, NSV, which has contributed significantly to the development of construction by manufacturing noise, vibration, and shock prevention products for more than 30 years, has won the 'Korea Product Innovation Award' organized by the Korean Standards Association for three consecutive years for its anti-shake braces that promote human safety and protect property. In 2019, the company won the grand prize for its VD-10 hybrid damper and in 2020 for its PO-MAT polyurethane mat.
NSV has developed into a leading company in its field in Korea as a specialist in dust and soundproofing facilities that control noise, vibration shock, and earthquakes generated in construction and society at large. Based on the corporate philosophy of 'creating a pleasant environment', we provide the best services with the best technology.
With the emergence of various high-rise buildings, auxiliary facilities such as water supply and drainage, air conditioning, and electrical equipment are becoming larger and more powerful, and the expansion of subways as a means of transportation in urban centers is causing noise and vibration problems. To solve these problems, we have developed a variety of products that are used to block noise and vibration and are playing a role in the development of the construction industry.
In recent years, the company has focused its R&D capabilities on strengthening the earthquake resistance sector. We have acquired more than 40 intellectual property rights, including patents and utility models, and domestic and international certifications to enhance our technological and quality competitiveness. Based on this, we are actively leading customer satisfaction, internal satisfaction, and social contribution activities.
'NDORI' Minimizing Digestive Pipeline Shaking
In recent years, Japan, China, and other Asian neighboring countries surrounding the Korean Peninsula have been experiencing increasing damage from earthquakes, and research into earthquake-resistant devices to prevent such damage has been ongoing.
Especially in the modern society, where safety is emphasized along with a comfortable environment, a solution was needed to prevent the interior and exterior facilities of apartments, buildings, etc. from causing damage to people and impeding damage recovery.
Based on its long-standing know-how, NSV has developed NDORI, an anti-shaking brace that can minimize the shaking of fire pipes. NDORI is named after a combination of 'dori' and 'NSV', which refers to a part of the hanok roof support, the longitudinal support at the top of the girder.
In the event of an earthquake, vibration, or vibration due to fluid flow, the inertial forces of the fire piping can cause connections to fail. NDORI is able to withstand these external pressures in both transverse and longitudinal directions and minimize pipe shaking to prevent damage.
In particular, it prevents structures and other equipment from being damaged or losing their functions, promotes human safety, protects property, and improves and expands its products to suit various architectural and structural environments.
"We were able to win this award as a result of our sweaty efforts to research and develop technologies for earthquake resistance, which has been receiving a lot of attention lately," said an official from NSB. "With sweat and passion, we will do our best to achieve 100% perfection with more comfort and stability down to the last 1%, and with mutual support and encouragement, we will continue to run vigorously to become a company that will last for more than 100 years."
