The Noise, Vibration, and Seismicity Committee of the Korean Institute of Facility Design (Chairman Byunseop Byun) is a committee composed of specialty companies that control noise and vibration, one of the most important complaints in building mechanical design, and related special member companies.

Mr. Woo holds a master's degree in engineering and has been in practice for many years, and has been recognized for his contributions to the dissemination of industry standards and technical standards in the field of soundproofing and seismic design of buildings, and was awarded the 2021 Minister of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport Award and the Design Development Award of the Korean Institute of Facility Design.

Mr. Woo has been actively engaged in social activities related to mechanical equipment, serving as the secretary of the Technical Standards Committee of the Korean Society of Equipment Engineers, a member of the Construction Technology Expert Committee of the Korea Institute of Construction Technology, and a business director of the Korean Society of Equipment Engineers. We interviewed Mr. Woo about the current status and development direction of the non-structural earthquake resistance market, which was jointly organized with the Equipment Design Association.
