By industry, the 56 companies recognized as Quality Competitiveness Exemplars include 3 metal, 16 machinery, 2 service, 10 electrical and electronics, 10 chemical, 11 public, and 4 other. By company size, there were 4 large companies, 23 mid-sized companies, 18 small companies, and 11 public companies. This year, the participation of mid-sized companies was higher.

Gugu, Korean Air C & D Service, Dongbu Tech, Dongbu Rubber Belt, BMT, Biomedical Food, Century, Enenet, Etn, ATEK AP,NSSV16 companies, including Hyundai L&C, Oriental Engineering, Willow Pump, Jungwoo MS, Hyundai L&C Eltek Sejong Plant, and Hongseong Engineering, were recognized as Quality Competitiveness Excellence Companies for the first time this year.

Korea OSG has been selected as a company with excellent quality competitiveness 30 times and has consistently shown excellent performance. Daelim Tongshang and KEPCO KPS have also been selected 25 times and have maintained their position as excellent quality competitiveness companies through continuous quality innovation activities. In particular, Daelim Tongshang is consolidating its position as a company leading the global bathroom culture through sustainable growth, while KEPCO KPS is recognized overseas as a company centered on the power generation equipment maintenance industry through continuous technology development and human resource training.

So far this year, a total of 1,701 companies have been recognized as Quality Competitiveness Companies. Small and medium-sized enterprises account for 904 (53.2%), followed by 526 (30.9%) large enterprises and 271 (15.9%) public enterprises.

The schedule and operating procedures for the 2025 Quality Competitiveness Excellent Company selection will be announced in February next year on the websites of the National Institute of Technology and Standards of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korean Standards Association.
